Tom Hiddleston has taken to Twitter to deny that he ever called himself 'rubbish' in Thor.
A story surfaced earlier this week that suggested that the British acto was worried about his performance as Loki in the Marvel movie.
However Hiddleston has but the record straight and said that he is very proud of hier performance, the movie and everyone that he worked with.
Writing on Twitter he said: "There's a strange word going around that I thought I was "rubbish" in THOR. Just want to clear up that I never said that."
He added: "I am incredibly proud of the film, and my part in it, and I wouldn't dream of denigrating the work of the wonderful people who made it. Just so you know."
Thor was a big success twelve months ago and both Hiddleston and co-star Chris Hemsworth have reprised their role of Loki and Thor in this summer's Marvel movie Avengers Assemble.
And Avengers Assemble is the biggest movie of 2012 so far as it has grossed well in excess of $1 billion at the global box office.
And Hiddleston is set to play Loki once again later this year as filming on the Thor sequel is set to get underway.
The movie is expected to hit the big screen next year.
