Tom Hiddleston has revealed that everyone looks 'iconic' on the set of The Avengers.
Hiddlestone can currently be seen playing Loki in Marvel comic movie Thor, a role he is expected to reprise in The Avengers.
The Avengers brings together Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner as Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk and Hawkeye.
Speaking to MTV News the actor said: "I've seen everyone in costume, it's great. It's everything everyone has been imagining except it's better."
"It's funny how everyone looks so entirely iconic in their own individual way, but then together there's a whole different level of iconography."
Joss Whedon is in the director's chair for The Avengers project and the movie is set to hit the big screen next year.
It has been a good summer for Marvel so far with Thor topping the box office in both the U.S. and UK - as well as receiving great reviews. The film has so far taken $431 million at the global box office.
Captain America: The First Avenger sees Chris Evan take on the role of Steve Rogers for the first time later this summer.
