Sizemore Under Investigation for Bizarre Store Raid

Tom Sizemore is at the centre of a police probe, amid allegations he stole pens and cellphones from a Los Angeles store last week (ends13Mar09).

Staff at a Verizon Wireless store in Los Angeles have handed cops footage of two men - one of whom strongly resembles Sizemore - carrying out the bizarre heist.

Los Angeles Police Department tells Tmz Sizemore is under investigation, but his lawyer assures the website the Black Hawk Down star is "innocent until proven guilty".

Sizemore, 44, has a long police record; in 2003 he was convicted of assaulting his then girlfriend, Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss.

Two years later he was jailed for failing drug tests while on probation; and in May 2007 he was arrested for possession of drugs at a California hotel.
