Tom Hardy Calls Nolan 'Genius'

Tom Hardy has described Christopher Nolan as a 'genius'.

The pair are currently working together on The Dark Knight Rises, the third Batman movie from the filmmaker.

It's the second time that Hardy has teamed up with director Nolan having worked on last year's huge hit Inception.

Hardy is set to be a new face on the cast list of the Batman movie as he takes on the role of Bane. And he admits to loving working with Nolan

Speaking to MTV the actor said: "Chris Nolan is amazing. How he releases his films, he's a very enigmatic human being.

"It's genius, what he does, and I just trust him and how he slowly feeds what he's about to do to the world."

But before we see him in Batman he will be back on the big screen next month in Warrior, a mixed martial arts movie; it also stars Nick Nolte and Joel Edgerton.

Warrior is released 23rd September.
