Danny Boyle Struggles to Make Trainspotting Sequel Interesting

Director Danny Boyle fears he faces an uphill struggle to stop his Trainspotting sequel from becoming a boring film about middle-aged ex drug addicts.Boyle and actor Ewan McGregor made their names with the 1996 movie about a group of heroin addicts in Edinburgh, Scotland, based on a novel written by Irving Welsh.The film maker has finally caved into pressure to take Welsh's follow-up book, Porno, to the big screen.The story catches up with the characters some years into the future - and Boyle worries it's not exciting enough to interest moviegoers.
