Movie bosses behind the Twilight franchise are taking legal action against the publishers of an unauthorised fanzine - accusing them of using photos from the films without permission.

Executives at Beckett media have released two issues of Twilight, part of the Beckett Teen Sensations series, which features images of the movie's stars, including Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

But bosses at Summit Entertainment, the company behind the vampire series, have filed suit in a bid to shelve the publication.

Papers filed at a U.S. federal court on Friday (06Nov09) allege editorsat Beckett used promotional photos from the Twilight films without permission in a bid to fill the magazine.

Lawyers for Summit Entertainment claim to have previously sent a cease and desist letter in a bid to stop publication, and are now demanding unspecified damages, according to Tmz.com.
