Mary J. Blige was so nervous about her first film role in Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself she took acting classes to make sure she wouldn't mess up on camera.
The writerdirector wrote the part with Blige in mind and even asked her to come up with the film's theme, which her character sings in the movie.
Blige says, "I went and got an acting coach and it helped a lot".
