Up makes it three weeks at the top of the Australian box office.

The animation film is the latest offering from Pixar, opening Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, and it has already grossed over $488 million at the global box office.

There was also no move ay number two as Funny People, the latest film from Judd Apatow, held off tough competition from 500 Days of Summer.

Despite a battle for the number two spot the romantic comedy 500 Days of Summer had to settle for the number three spot in it's opening weekend.

Starring Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt the film is an offbeat romantic comedy about a woman (Deschanel) who doesn't believe true love exists, and the young man (Gordon-Levitt) who falls for her.

Inglourious Basterds fell one place from three to four while G-Force was a new entry to round off the top five.
