Simon Pegg has a very busy summer ahead of him with a string of movies set to hit the big screen and Absolutely Anything is just one that you need to watch out for.

Absolutely Anything

Absolutely Anything

Absolutely Anything will see Pegg return to the sci-fi comedy genre as he teams up with director Terry Jones. Jones is no stranger to the director's chair in recent years with a string of documentaries and TV projects under his belt, but this is his first feature film since The Wind in the Willows back in 1996.

Pegg is set to take on the central role of Neil Clarke and is joined by Kate Beckinsale, Joanna Lumley, Eddie Izzard, and Rob Riggle. Robin Williams will voice the character of Dennis the dog, while Jones, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Michael Palin, and John Cleese voice the aliens.

A great new trailer for the film has arrived and we have it for you to take a look at:

However, Absolutely Anything is a movie that is tinged with sadness as this is one of Robin Williams' final movie projects - it does look like he is going to give another great voice performance as Dennis.

Absolutely Anything follows a disillusioned school teacher (Pegg) who suddenly finds he has the ability to do anything he wishes, a challenge bestowed upon him by a group of power-crazed aliens (voiced by Cleese, Gilliam, Jones, Palin & Idle), watching him from space.

As he struggles to deal with these new found powers and the events that subsequently arise, he calls upon his loyal canine companion Dennis (Williams) to help him along the way. Mishap after mishap finally leads him to the ultimate conundrum that all men dread and at which many have failed... should he choose the girl... or the dog?

Absolutely Anything is released 14th August.
