Some of the biggest stars of the Marvel Cinematic Universe come together behind-the-scenes in a brand new eye-opening clip from the set of upcoming MCU release, Avengers: Infinity War. Talking about the entire Marvel “family” coming together, and the way in which some of the talents are working together for the first time despite being a part of the big screen MCU franchise for a while, it instantly becomes clear that this is the biggest cast ever assembled for a superhero movie. A decade in the making, Infinity War brings a number of high-profile Marvel heroes together for the first time, for the ultimate showdown against one of the deadliest threats to the universe; Thanos (Josh Brolin). The Avengers, including Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), and more will join with the likes of Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Star Lord (Chris Pratt), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Spider-Man (Tom Holland), and Gamora (Zoe Saldana) in a bid to take down Thanos.
What we do know is that this movie won’t be as clear cut and positive as those that have come before it. Fatalities have been confirmed, although we don’t know exactly who’ll be headed out of the door when all is said and done.
Though the film doesn’t open until the end of the month, presales in the United States are showing that it could be the biggest success the MCU has ever seen. Fandango for example sees the movie selling more than double the amount of tickets Black Panther sold at the same point before its release. Infinity War is in fact selling more than the last seven MCU releases combined!
According to Variety, Fandango managing editor Erik Davis comments: “Infinity War has built up such unprecedented anticipation that it’s pacing to break records, the likes of which we have never seen before for a superhero movie. Moviegoers are rushing to guarantee their seats in advance for what is sure to be one of the most talked-about movies of the decade.”
Avengers: Infinity War comes to cinemas across the UK on April 26, 2018.
