Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hardy are two of the names that have been linked with Doctor Strange.
Doctor Strange is set to be one of films that will be part of Marvel's Phase Three of films, and names are already being banded around for the title role.
According to Deadline, Cumberbatch and Hardy are two of the actors who are high on that list.
Last week it was revealed that Scott Derrickson would be in the director's chair for the film.
Derrickson has brought us movies such as The Exorcism of Emily Rose and Sinister during his career, and is back this summer with Deliver Us From Evil.
No cast members for the film have been released, neither has a release date for the movie.
Cumberbatch will be back on the big screen later this year with The Imitation Game and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. He is currently filming Black Mass with Johnny Depp.
We are also going to be seeing plenty of Hardy on the big screen over the next year, as he has already completed work on The Drop, Child 44, London Road and Mad Max: Fury Road.
Phase Two of Marvel films will be brought to a close next year with Avengers: Age of Ultron. Ant-Man is set to kick off Phase Three next summer.
