Lionsgate this week delivered the first taste of what we should expect when Bombshell comes to the big screen, with acting juggernauts Margot Robbie, Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman all starring in the upcoming blockbuster.
Based in truth, the film will take us back to 2016, when a massive scandal rocked media empire Fox News. Sexual harassment allegations against the late Roger Ailes began to pile up, who was at the time CEO and chairman of the company. One of the women accusing him of the criminal behaviour was Gretchen Carlson, one of the most well-recognised names from the network.
Working together to take down the corrupt man at the head of the controversial company, women are at the forefront of this journey, which looks sure to empower everybody who watches.

Directed by Emmy Award winner Jay Roach, from a screenplay by Academy Award winner Charles Randolph, Bombshell also stars Kate McKinnon, Connie Britton, Mark Duplass, Rob Delaney, Malcolm McDowell and Allison Janney.
Kidman plays Carlson, with Theron as Megyn Kelly, and Robbie as a fictional associate producer named Kayla Pospisil. Lithgow steps into the role of Ailes, whilst Britton plays his wife Beth, and Janney plays his lawyer.
There's no official release date for Bombshell just yet, but we'll keep you informed with any developments!
