First Byzantium Image

Saoirse Ronan is one of the most talented young actresses around at the moment so it's great that she will be heading back to the big screen in Byzantium.

Yes the first image from the Neil Jordan directed movie has been revealed.

The movie is based on the play by Moira Buffini and sees Ronan joined on the cast list by Gemma Arterton, Johnny Lee Miller and Sam Riley.

The movie follows Ronan and Arterton who pretend to be mother and daughter... they are in fact a pair of vampires.

Byzantium is released later this year.
