Camp X-Ray
Now that The Twilight Saga is behind her, Kristen Stewart has the chance to tackle some interesting and different roles, and Camp X-Ray.
Playlist has released a set of great new images from the film, and it looks like it is going to be a very interesting watch:
Stewart will take on the role of Pvt. Amy Cole as she teams up with director and writer Peter Sattler.
The movie marks the feature film directorial debut for Sattler. as he makes the leap from shorts.
The movie follows Pvt. Cole, who is assigned to Guantanamo Bay befriends a man who has been imprisoned there for eight years.
Stewart is joined on the cast list by Julia Duffy, Tara Holt, Lane Garrison, John Carroll Lynch, and Yousuf Azami.
Camp X-Ray looks set to be a role that we have not seen Stewart tackle before, and I am excited to see her explore this character and this story.
Stewart also enjoyed success at the Cannes Film Festival with Clouds of Sils Maria, and has completed work on Anesthesia, Still Alice, and American Ultra.
There has been no official UK release date for Camp X-Ray.
