Kristen Stewart has a string of interesting and exciting films on the horizon, and Camp X-Ray is one of them.

Camp X-Ray will see Peter Sattler in the director's chair as he teams up with Stewart for the first time.

This is a movie that has played quite extensively on the festival circuit this year, and it marks a new chapter in Stewart's career as she moves away from Twilight.

Sattler has written and directed the film, as he makes his feature film directorial debut.

He has brought together a great cast, as Stewart is joined by Peyman Moaadi, John Carroll Lynch, Lane Garrison, and Tara Holt.

A young woman joins the military to be part of something bigger than herself and her small town roots. But she ends up as a new guard at Guantanamo Bay instead, where her mission is far from black and white.

Surrounded by hostile jihadists and aggressive squadmates, she strikes up an unusual friendship with one of the detainees.

A story of two people, on opposite sides of a war, struggling to find their way through the ethical quagmire of Guantanamo Bay. And in the process, they form an unlikely bond that changes them both.

Camp X-Ray is set to be released in the U.S. on 17th October. There is no word yet as to when the film will be released in the UK.
