2015 has been a great year for Oscar Isaac and it looks like 2016 could be just as busy and successful for him.

Isaac is set to return to the big screen in March as he teams up with Garrett Hedlund with thriller Mojave, and the duo takes centre stage in this great new image from the film.

Mojave marks the return of William Monahan to the director's chair for his first film since he made his debut with London Boulevard back in 2010. As well as being in the director's chair, Monahan has penned the film's screenplay.

Monahan is best known as a screenwriter and has penned scripts for Kingdom of Heaven, Body of Lies and The Departed; winning an Oscar for the latter. I am looking forward to seeing what he delivers with this latest film project.

Isaac and Hedlund are set to take on the central roles of Jack and Thomas in the film and are joined on the cast list Mark Wahlberg, Walton Goggins, and Hayley Magnus.

Mojave follows a violent artist, Thomas, (Hedlund) has an ominous encounter in the desert with a homicidal, chameleon-like drifter, Jack, (Isaac). Jack follows Thomas back to his privileged L.A. home life, holding a dark secret over his head as he attempts to infiltrate and destroy his seemingly-perfect life.

Thomas must come to terms with his own insecurities and self-doubt to protect himself and his family, and go head-to-head with his nemesis in a riveting two-man clash that plays out in exciting and unexpected ways.

Isaac has enjoyed success with Ex Machina and Star Wars: The Force Awakens this year and we are also going to see him star in X-Men: Apocalypse as we head into 2016.
