I know the Christmas is still quite a way off but that is always a great season for movies... and Krampus is one that we are already looking forward to.

Krampus

Krampus

Set to hit the big screen at the beginning of December and is set to follow a family when Christmas goes bad - Santa Claus will not be calling but Krampus will.

Krampus will blend elements of horror and comedy and will see Michael Dougherty back in the director's chair for the second feature film of his career. The movie comes eight years after he made his directorial debut with Trick 'r Treak back in 2007.

Krampus is a movie that looks set to be a lot of fun as well as provide some scares and here is the brand new trailer for you to take a look at:

The movie sees Toni Collette back on the big screen as she teams up with Adam Scott. The duo are joined on the cast list by David Koechner, Allison Tolman, Conchata Ferrell, Emjay Anthony, Stefania Lavie Owen with Krista Stadler.

Legendary Pictures' Krampus, a darkly festive tale of a yuletide ghoul, reveals an irreverently twisted side to the holiday. When his dysfunctional family clashes over the holidays, young Max (Anthony) is disillusioned and turns his back on Christmas. Little does he know, this lack of festive spirit has unleashed the wrath of Krampus: a demonic force of ancient evil intent on punishing non-believers.

All hell breaks loose as beloved holiday icons take on a monstrous life of their own, laying siege to the fractured family's home and forcing them to fight for each other if they hope to survive.

Krampus is released December 4th.
