Civil War will be the second Marvel movie for the actress and comes after the billion dollar success of Avengers: Age of Ultron last year, where we were introduced to the character of Scarlet Witch for the first time.

It looks like this character is going to play a more substantial role in the Marvel Universe going forward and Marvel has released some terrific new artwork showing off the look and the abilities of the character. Check them out:

It is still not 100% clear where Scarlet Witch is going to fit into the Civil War story and which side she is going to fight on. It has been suggested that we may see this character switch allegiances during the film - I guess we are just going to have to wait and see.

While the film sees Olsen reunite with actors Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr, Jeremy Renner, and Paul Bettany, it will see her team up with directors Anthony and Joe Russo for the very first time.

The Russo brothers are back in the director's chair for the first time since the critical and commercial success of The Winter Solider two years ago. Earlier this week we reported that the brothers had hinted that Civil War is going to be more aggressive in tone than its predecessor. We have also been promised a 'controversial' ending to the film.

Civil War is the third solo film for Captain America and looks set to be the biggest as it lays some of the foundations for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War.

As for Olsen, Civil War will be the first time that we have seen her on the big screen since Avengers: Age of Ultron. However we are going to see her in music biopic I Saw the Light later this year, which sees her team up wit fellow Marvel actor Tom Hiddleston.

Captain America: Civil War is released 29th April.
