Chloe Grace Moretz

Chloe Grace Moretz has described Carrie as the most emotional role that she has ever tackled.

Moretz has teamed up with director Kimberly Peirce for the remake of the horror classics: which is based on a Stephen King novel.

And while this role provided a new challenge for the young actress, Moretz admits that it was an exciting one.

Speaking to Flicks and Bits the actress said: The role of Carrie is an incredibly emotional role.

"It's probably the most vulnerable I've ever been as an actor, so in some ways it's kind of terrifying for people to see it, but at the same time it's very exciting and kind of an awakening for me because it's something I've never done before."

Carrie sees Moretz take on the title role of Carrie White, while Julianne Moore is on board as her mother Margaret.

And we are going to be seeing plenty of Moretz on the big screen into 2014 as she has already completed work on Laggies, The Equalizer, Dark Places and Sils Maria.

Carrie is released 29th November.
