Christopher and Jonathan Nolan are not involved in any upcoming DC Comic projects according to Jonathan himself.

Christopher Nolan was in the director’s chair for his Batman trilogy - who wrote the script for The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises - while Chris served as producer on Man of Steel.

And while there are a whole host of DC Comic movies in the pipeline with Warner Bros, Jonathan says that he and his brother are not involved in any at the moment.

Speaking to CS, Jonathan said: “I love those guys and my brother was involved in Man of Steel with Zack [Snyder] and David [Goyer]. I kind of feel like that chapter for us is closed.”

However, Jonathan didn’t rule out the possibility that they could both return to the at universe in the future.

Chris and Jonathan have reunited to pen the script for Interstellar, which sees Chris return to the director’s chair for the first time since the success of The Dark Knight Rises.

Interstellar is one of the most anticipated films of 2014, and will see Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Wes Bentley, Michael Caine, and Casey Affleck are all on board.

Interstellar is the fourth feature film screenplay for Jonathan Nolan, having worked on The Prestige, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises.

Jonathan Nolan is making the move back in the director’s chair with new TV series Westworld - a series that he has also created and written.

Interstellar is released 7th November.
