Chris Hemsworth could be being lined up to take on the role of Doc Savage.
Shane Black is in the director's chair for the Sony movie, which inspired by the American pulp magazines of 1930s and 1940s.
The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Black has met with Hemsworth quite recently to chat about the film and the role.
We last saw Black in the director's chair in 2013 with Iron Man 3, which was only his second feature film of his career.
However, it has also been reported that Black is set to reboot the Predator franchise, so when Doc Savage is going to go ahead is a little uncertain.
As for Hemsworth, he is currently filming Avengers: Age of Ultron, where he will reprise the role of Thor.
Thor: The Dark World was the last time that we saw Hemsworth on the big screen, but he has also compelted work on Cyber and Heart of the Sea.
