Chris Hemsworth says Avengers: Age of Ultron is going to be 'bigger' and more 'exciting'.

Filming has got underway on Avengers: Age of Ultron, where Hemsworth will reprise the role of Thor - this will be the fourth time that he has played the character.

And the actor has given us a little hint as to what we can expect, as well heaping praise on Joss Whedon.

Speaking at Wizard World Comic Con, the actor said: "Everything in [Age of Ultron] is ramped up, though. It kind of blew me away reading [the script].

"I don’t know how Joss [Whedon] does it, but everyone has gone up another notch and the whole thing is bigger and more exciting and crazier. Yeah, he’s a genius."

And while filming is underway, Hemsworth revealed that he and the rest of the main cast will not be on set for another two months.

"I’m really excited to start Avengers 2 in 2 months and get back on set.

"We’re going to meet in London and shoot there for 4 months, so I’m excited to get back together with everyone and catch up."

The movie will see Hemsworth reunite with Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner. However, there are some new faces to watch out for as James Spader, Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson are also on board.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is already one of the most anticipated films of 2015, and will bring Marvel's Phase 2 of films to a close.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is released 1st May 2015.
