As one of the most successful and highest-grossing horror franchises of all time, the Saw movie series has gained an incredibly loyal following of fans, all who have been desperate for more action from the Saw universe ever since Saw 3D: The Final Chapter was released back in 2010. When it was revealed a new film would in fact be hitting the big screen a little later this year under the name Jigsaw, talk instantly started swirling about what we could expect. Now, a spooky poster for the flick has been revealed, which you can check out below:

Jigsaw hits UK cinemas on October 27

Jigsaw hits UK cinemas on October 27

Directed by The Spierig Brothers, who work on a screenplay from Josh Stolberg and Peter Goldfinger, the film is produced by Oren Koules, Mark Burg and Greg Hoffman and stars the likes of Matt Passmore, Callum Keith Rennie, Clé Bennett, Hannah Emily Anderson, Laura Vandervoort, Mandela Van Peebles, Paul Braunstein, Brittany Allen and Josiah Black.

Tobin Bell – the man who played the original Jigsaw, aka John Kramer – is also said to be involved in the flick; a strange notion, as he died many years before the events of the film take place.

With bodies turning up around the city and unique, gruesome circumstances surrounding each, investigations begin to turn up clues that point to John Kramer. With him dead for over a decade however, there seems to be a lot more to this series of events than anybody could have ever imagined.

Jigsaw hits cinemas across the UK on October 27, 2017.
