Collins may have turned down the role in the James Bond franchise twice before, but she now has her sights set on becoming an iconic love interest of the secret agent in the near future and wants to go down in history.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, she said: "I was asked to be a Bond girl many years ago in 'Goldfinger' but I didn't fancy being painted gold. It's a pity I didn't do that, it would have been quite iconic. And then I was asked another time but I was expecting one of my children so I couldn't do it."

And the legendary star has already decided she will be a tough-talking "b**chy" Bond girl if she ever lands the role.

She explained: "I would love to be a Bond villain. Who wouldn't? What actress wouldn't? I would be good - I would be a bitchy Bond villain."

Meanwhile, Monica Bellucci, 52, currently holds the title for the oldest Bond Girl in the franchise's history after she was cast as widow Lucia Sciarra in the new movie 'SPECTRE.'

The brunette beauty previously admitted she initially thought director Sam Mendes was casting her as the new M, formerly played by Dame Judi Dench, due to her age.

She said last month: "I assumed they wanted me to play the new M. I really did but when Sam explained that he wanted 'an adult woman to seduce Bond for the first time,' I realised that this was going to revolutionary. It's such a beautiful example to set for other actresses - and other women."
