Doug Liman is believed to be in talks to direct an adaptation of Railhead.
Heat Vision has revealed that the filmmaker is currently in talks with Warner Bros to bring the Philip Reeve novel to the big screen.
Sci-fi book Railhead will not be released until 2015, bit the rights to the book have already been snapped up.
Liman is going to be a busy chap over the next year or so, as he new film Edge of Tomorrow hits the big screen next month.
Edge of Tomorrow is Liman's first directorial outing since Fair Game, and sees him team up with Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt.
He is also set to return to the director's chair for Splinter Cell.
The movie is a big screen adaptation of the hit computer game, and will see him work with actor Tom Hardy.
