We were introduced to Olsen's character Scarlet Witch for the first time earlier this year in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and it is a role that she is set to reprise for the third stand alone Captain America movie.

And Olsen had nothing but praise for Daniel Bruhl - who is one of the big new faces on the cast list this time around - calling his performance as the film's villain 'incredible.'

Speaking to French magazine Premiere, the actress said: "I think it's going to be the best one. I am very excited to see it myself -- I only worked on set for five weeks, so I wasn't there for the majority of it. Daniel Brühl is an incredible actor and he's playing the main villain in it, and he's incredible."

This time around, we are going to see the Avengers on opposing sides as they go head to head for the first time. And the actress has revealed that Civil War is perhaps the darkest of all of the Marvel movies to date.

She continued: "It's a movie about people, as opposed to robots this time.So it's darker and it's allowed to be darker because it gets more in the mindset of humans rather than machines."

At the moment, we don't know which side we are going to see Scarlet Witch fighting on, is she team Iron Man? Or team Captain America? I guess we are going to have to wait and see.

It has been a huge year for Olsen with the billion dollar success of Avengers: Age of Ultron and we are going to be seeing plenty of her as we head into next year.

Not only has she got Civil War on the horizon, but she is also set to team up with Tom Hiddleston for I Saw The Light, a biopic about musician Hank Williams.

Olsen is set to play Hank's wife Audrey Mae Williams, while Hiddleston is on board in the central role. David Krumholtz and Bradley Whitfold are also on the cast list. Marc Abraham is in the director's chair for his film since making his directorial debut with Flash of Genius back in 2008.

Captain America: Civil War is released 29th April 2016.
