Elizabeth Olsen says she is a bit fan of Marvel films.
Olsen is set to join the Marvel family, as she will take on the role of Scarlet Witch in Avengers: Age of Ultron - the second Avengers film that will bring Phase Two of Marvel movies to a close.
And Olsen says that she has always enjoyed that way these movies balance that sense of fantasy and reality.
Speaking to Total Film, the actress said: I’ve seen all the Marvel movies. I love these movies. Marvel keep the fantastical qualities but create something as realistic as they can make it for this world.
“There’s something genuinely broken. Everyone has their Achilles heel.”
Olsen will not be the only new face on the Avengers: Age of Ultron cast list, as Aaron Taylor-Johnson will star as Quicksilver and James Spader is on board as Ultron.
And Olsen has given some hints as to what we might be able to expect from her costume in the new movie. “We’ve done some costume stuff, yeah!
“My favourite piece is my secrecy cloak that prevents anyone from seeing what I’m wearing. There’s a hood, and a robe - it protects the image!”
Olsen will join an all-star cast in Age of Ultron, as Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner are all set to return.
And that is not the only blockbuster film on the horizon for Olsen, as we are set to see her return to the big screen this summer in Godzilla.
Godzilla will mark the first time that we have seen this iconic character on the big screen since 1998, as Gareth Edwards returns to the director’s chair.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is released 1st May 2015.
