Emma Stone

Emma Stone is enjoying all of the experiences she has had so far as an actress but she admits she doesn't know how long her career is going to last.

Stone's acting career hit new heights last week as she big up her first Academy Award nomination. Stone was recognised in the Best Supporting Actress category for her performance in ensemble movie Birdman.

And while Stone is enjoying everything that has come her way and the challenges that she has faced, she has no idea what the future is going to hold.

Speaking to Psychologies magazine, the actress said: "It's been wonderful but it's also challenging and I'm going into places that I've never really allowed myself to go before with 'Birdman' and 'Cabaret'.

"I feel very lucky that I'm getting the opportunity to do it and I don't know how long that opportunity will last - I'm trying to learn as much as I possibly can in this time.

"It's been incredible but also slightly overwhelming at times just because it's so different to anything I've done before."

The Best Supporting Actress nomination was one of nine nods that Birdman received last week, including Best Picture, Best Director for Alejandro González Iñárritu, Best Director for Michael Keaton, and Best Supporting Actor for Edward Norton.

Birdman was met with critical acclaim when it appeared on the festival circuit last year, and looks set to be in a battle with Boyhood to scoop the Best Picture Oscars.

As for Stone, she will be back on the big screen later this year, as she has completed work on a untitled Cameron Crowe and Woody Allen movie. This will be the second time that Stone has worked with Allen, after the pair teamed up for Magic in the Moonlight last year.

The Oscar winners will be revealed 22nd February.
