Evangeline Lilly Hints At Hobbit Character

Evangeline Lilly has drops some hints about her character in The Hobbit.

The actress is set to take on the role of Tauriel, a character created especially for the movie, and she has talked about what her character is like.

Speaking to EW the actress said: Yes, she is a warrior. She’s actually the head of the Elven guard.

"She’s the big shot in the army. So she knows how to wield any weapon, but the primary weapons that she uses are a bow and arrow and two daggers.

"And she’s lethal and deadly. You definitely wouldn’t want to be caught in a dark alley next to Tauriel."

Peter Jackson is back in the director's chair for the movie while Martin Freeman, Ian McKellan, Andy Serkis, and Richard Armitage are all on the cast list.

Lilly is currently filming the movie in New Zealand.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is released 14th December.
