Exodus: Gods And Kings us a movie to watch out for at the end of 2014, as Ridley Scott makes his return to the director's chair.

The movie sees Scott team up with Christian Bale, as the Oscar winning actor takes on the role of Moses in this sword and sandal epic.

Joel Edgerton is on board as Pharaoh Ramses, and the pair feature in the first trailer and a trio of fantastic posters for the film:

Bale and Edgerton are joined on the cast list by Aaron Paul, Sigourney Weaver, and Ben Kingsley.

Exodus: Gods And Kings is the story of one man's daring courage to take on the might of an empire.

Using state of the art visual effects and 3D immersion, Scott brings new life to the story of the defiant leader Moses (Bale) as he rises up against the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses (Edgerton), setting 600,000 slaves on a monumental journey of escape from Egypt and its terrifying cycle of deadly plagues.

Scott is no stranger to this genre of film, having brought us Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven, but this promises to be one of his most epic undertakings yet.

Exodus: Gods And Kings is released 26th December.
