Finding Dory

Finding Dory is the latest offering from Pixar and comes thirteen years after the huge success of Finding Nemo - yes, it really was back in 2003 when the film hit the big screen.

The movie has already held the number one spot at the U.S. box office for three weeks and will be released here in the UK at the end of the month.

Finding Dory is currently the sixth highest-grossing film of 2016 and is closing in on the $781 million posted by Deadpool earlier this year.

This is the latest box office success for Disney, which currently has the three highest grossing films with Captain America: Civil War, Zootropolis, and The Jungle Book.

Finding Dory is currently the second highest grossing animation film of the year - behind Zootropolis, which has grossed over $1 billion worldwide.

Finding Dory marks the return of Andrew Stanton to the director's chair while Ellen DeGeneres is back to voice the title character.

The role of Dory in Finding Nemo helped to send DeGeneres' star rocketing back in 2003 and it is great to see her returning to this much-loved role. The film sees her reunite with Albert Brooks, who is back as Marlin.

Hayden Rolence takes over the character of Nemo while Ed O'Neill, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell, Idris Elba, and Dominic West are some of the big new names on the cast list.

No summer is complete without a Pixar film hitting the big screen and Finding Dory is set to be a huge success when it is released here in the UK.

Finding Dory is released 29th July.
