This week, Blumhouse Productions dropped the first-look trailer for their big screen adaptation of Fantasy Island, based on the hit TV series of the same name, originally created by Gene Levitt. You can check out the teaser below:

Written by Chris Roach, Jillian Jacobs and Jeff Wadlow, with Wadlow also serving as director, Fantasy Island introduces the enigmatic Mr. Roarke (Michael Peña), who invites a series of guests to his luxurious remote tropical resort. There, he promises their dreams will come true, but it doesn't take long for the arrivals to realise that they're actually stuck in a nightmare.

Forced to work together if they're to solve the mystery of the island, the guests' lives are on the line in a game of chance, and judging by the scenes included in the trailer above, they're not all going to make it out alive!

Maggie Q, Lucy Hale, Austin Stowell, Portia Doubleday, Jimmy O. Yang, Ryan Hansen and Michael Rooker all also star in the thriller, which is set to come to cinemas across the UK on February 14th, 2020.
