A brilliant first trailer for upcoming film Wonder, based on the New York Times best-selling novel of the same name by R. J. Palacio, has today been released, as well as a slick and eye-catching poster for the flick. You can check them out below:
Wonder tells the story of August Pullman (Jacob Tremblay); a youngster who was born with facial differences and, upon his entry to fifth grade, faces his peers as he attends a mainstream elementary school for the first time.
Of course, his new classmates and the larger community around August struggle to find acceptance in their hearts for the youngster, but his journey is one that will unite them all and prove, when you were born to stand out, you cannot simply blend in.
Released in the UK this December, Wonder is directed by Stephen Chbosky and also stars Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson, Mandy Patinkin and Daveed Diggs.
