Gravity has spent a second week at the top of the UK box office.

The Alfonso Cuaron directed movie - which has been winning over critics and audiences - took a further £4.8 million to see off any challenge.

So far the movie has taken over $516 million at the global box office.

There was no move for Thor: The Dark World at two, while Philomena also stayed put at three.

The Counsellor, which sees Ridley Scott return to the director's chair, was the highest new entry at four. The Butler, which is a former U.S. #1 film, was also new at five.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs dropped a single place from five to six, while Captain Phillips was one of the biggest fallers this week as it dropped three places from four to seven.

Turbo was down one, while Jackass: Bad Grandpa was the other three place faller at nine.

Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela rounded off the top ten and was the third and final new entry at ten.
