Henry Cavill

Henry Cavill says he is not sure how he feels about the pressure that comes with playing Superman.

The actor is set to see his star rocket this summer as he takes on the role of Superman in Zack Snyder's blockbuster Man of Steel.

This is the biggest film role of Cavill's career to date and it is set to be a great launch pad for the British actor.

Speaking to Access Hollywood the actor said: "I don't know [if I'm] nervous. I don't know how to feel to be honest.

"I'm just gonna wait and see. And it's one of those things where, I'll ride the wave and roll with the punches if they come."

The film will see the actor star alongside Russell Crowe, Amy Adams and Michael Shannon while Christopher Nolan is serving as producer on the film.

Man of Steel is one of the most anticipated films of the year and is set to be a smash at the box office.

Cavill has also been linked to a role with film The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and The Great Wall.

Man of Steel is released 14th June.
