In The Heart of the Sea

The lovely Chris Hemsworth is set to return to the big screen in In The Heart of the Sea as he reunites with director Ron Howard.

Hemsworth and Howard worked together for the first time on the terrific Rush - a film you really should check out if you have not see it - and now they are back.

In The Heart of the Sea is back on the book by Nathaniel Philbrick, and follows a whaling ship that is hunting a sperm whale.

The brand new trailer for In The Heart of the Sea is here, and it promises to be a truly action packed watch:

Hemsworth will take on the central role of Owen Chase, while Cillian Murphy, Paul Anderson, Brendan Gleeson, and Ben Whishaw are some of the other great names on board.

In the winter of 1820, the New England whaling ship Essex was assaulted by something no one could believe: a whale of mammoth size and will, and an almost human sense of vengeance.

The real-life maritime disaster would inspire Herman Melville’s Moby-Dick. But that told only half the story.

In the Heart of the Sea reveals the encounter’s harrowing aftermath, as the ship’s surviving crew is pushed to their limits and forced to do the unthinkable to stay alive.

Braving storms, starvation, panic and despair, the men will call into question their deepest beliefs, from the value of their lives to the morality of their trade, as their captain searches for direction on the open sea and his first mate still seeks to bring the great whale down.

In The Heart of the Sea is released 13th March 2015.
