Taking in some big numbers at the box office this weekend as it opened worldwide, Warner Bros. Pictures’ latest release IT is quickly becoming one of the biggest successes of the year. Directed by Andrés Muschietti, the film is based on the Stephen King novel of the same name and now, a new featurette has been revealed, showcasing the Losers of the Losers’ Club in the movie. As children begin to disappear in the town of Derry in Maine, a young group of children that are often seen as the outcasts of society are faced with tackling their biggest fears, squaring off against the evil entity that is Pennywise the clown.
Bill Skarsgård takes on the role of the central villain Pennywise, with a hugely talented ensemble of young actors making up the Losers’ Club, including Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff, cHosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer and Nicholas Hamilton.
Chase Palmer, Cary Fukunaga and Gary Dauberman adapted the screenplay for the flick, with Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Seth Grahame-Smith, David Katzenberg and Barbara Muscietti producing. Marty P. Ewing, Doug Davison and Jon Silk serve as executive producers.
IT is available in cinemas now.
