Jamie Foxx says he had a 'moment' when he saw Andrew Garfield in the Spider Man suit for the first time.
Foxx is one of the new faces in the second instalment of The Amazing Spider Man franchise, as he takes on the role of Electro for the first time.
The Oscar winner is set to go head to head with Garfield's Spider Man, as director Marc Webb ups the anti with this second film.
And while Foxx liked the idea of working on a superhero blockbuster, in this video he reveals that it was important for the characters to have a weight to them.
Foxx is not the only new name on the cast list, as Dane DeHaan and Paul Giamatti are also taking on villainous roles.
The Amazing Spider Man 2 is the first time that we have seen Foxx on the big screen since action flick White House Down.
He has just lent his voice to animation movie Rio 2, and he will be back in musical Annie later this year.
The Amazing Spider Man is released 16th April.
