Set to hit cinemas in the middle of next year, action-comedy flick Game Night will see Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams lead an all-star cast, starring as a couple whose weekly game night turns into a murder mystery party. Joining their best friends to solve a case they’ll never forget, they slowly but surely begin to realise that their game may have turned into something a whole lot more real. Check out the hilarious first trailer for the film below:

Sharon Horgan, Billy Magnussen, Lamorne Morris, Kylie Banbury, Jesse Plemons, Chelsea Pereti, and Danny Houston also star in the upcoming movie, which takes place over the course of a single chaotic night and leads the characters on a path that involves multiple shocking twists and turns.

Despite the danger, the night could turn out to be one they enjoy more than any in the past. Or, they could let their guard down and be completely consumed by what was supposed to be harmless fun.

John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are directing the film following the success on their debut feature together, Vacation.  Mark Perez, John Davis and John Fox wrote the movie, whilst Bateman and Jim Garavente serve as producers. Marc S. Fischer is executive producer on the upcoming release.

Filming for Game Night started in early April of this year in Atlanta, Georgia, and whilst everything was wrapped up and Warner Bros. Pictures had an initial planned release of February 14, 2018, it was pushed back in the US by just under a month, and is now set to hit US cinemas on March 2, 2018.

Game Night comes to movie theatres across the UK on May 4.
