How To Train Your Dragon 2

Jay Baruchel has called director Dean DeBlois one of the 'greatest artists working in movies'.

Baruchel reunites with DeBlois for the highly anticipated How to Train Your Dragon 2 - which is released later this summer.

Baruchel is back to voice the character of Hiccup, while DeBlois is back in the director's chair. And the actor is thrilled to be working with the filmmaker again.

Speaking to Flicks and Bits, the actor said: "It can’t be overstated enough that he’s not just one of the greatest artists working in movies, he’s one of the greatest artists working period.

"And he’s one of the greatest storytellers, and he inherits this pure, Homeric tradition of just giving these beautiful sagas and these beautiful quests.

"He’s such a compassionate man that you can’t help but feel his love for the world and love for people and love for everything and every character."

Baruchel is not the only familiar voice on the cast list, as Gerard Butler, Jonah Hill, America Ferrara and Christopher-Mintz Plasse are also back.

There are some new names on the cast list as Cate Blanchett, Kit Harington and Djimon Hounsou are also on board.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 comes four years after the success of the first film, and looks set to be even more successful than the first.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 is released 27th June.
