Aniston will play beauty pageant queen-turned-sports manager Denise White in the biopic and will also act as executive producer - along Kristin Hahn - of the movie for Fox 2000, according to Deadline.

'Dallas Buyers Club' co-writer Melisa Wallack adapted the script from Paul Solotaroff's 2014 Men's Journal article titled 'The Woman Who Bails Out the NFL's Bad Boys', which chronicled Denise's rise to the top of the sports world.

The feature told the story of the life and career achievements of Denise, who prior to building a successful sports management company called EAG, was a contestant in the Miss USA pageant and won the Miss Congeniality title in 1994.

EAG has handled sports people for more than a decade with clients including NFL stars Vince Young, Jared Allen, Brandon Marshall and DeSean Jackson, and during an interview for Solotaroff's article Denise - who is 43 years old and lives in California - said she is like a mother figure to her clients.

She said: "(My clients) need every bit of mothering they can get. Oh, you don't know drama until you've heard my horror story. I'm the only woman manager in the NFL - hell, the only woman, period, in this godforsaken league. How do you think I landed all these guys?"

Meanwhile, Jennifer will be seen on screens in forthcoming movies 'Mother's Day' and 'The Yellow Birds', out later this year.
