Jennifer Lawrence has described Katniss Everdeen as a character that is hard to get bored with.
The actress is set to reprise the role of the heroine at the end of the year in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire - a film which she is currently shooting.
Catching Fire is the second film in the franchise and comes off the back of the first film which was a huge box office success.
And Lawrence admits that Katniss is a character that she still loves.
In a chat with Collider the actress said: "It's a character that I love, and a story and message that I'm passionate about, so I haven't managed to get bored.
"That's a pretty hard character to get bored with, though."
Lawrence is not the only actor retuning to Catching Fire as Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson and Elizabeth Banks are all back.
As for Lawrence she is in the running for the Best Actress Oscar for her fantastic performance in Silver Linings Playbook.
She is in with a great chance of getting her hands on the gong but faces tough competition from Jessica Chastain - who is considered her main rival.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is released 22nd November.
