Jennifer Lawrence says we are going to get the first glimpse of war in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1.

Mockingjay - Part 1 is one of the most anticipated films of 2014, as the journey of Katniss Everdeen continues.

This time around she is a reluctant symbol of the revolution and her life will never be the same again.

We still have a couple of months before the film hits the big screen, but Lawrence has dropped little hints as to what we can expect.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the actress said: "There’s definitely some battles. There’s some of the first glimpses of real war in this movie. And the scale gets quite big.

"There’s an atonal shift from some of the last movies, but they’re still very emotional, very sweeping, [on a] grand scale with some levity and humour."

Francis Lawrence - who directed Catching Fire - has returned to the director's chair for the final two instalments.

We are going to be seeing plenty of familiar faces, as Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Josh Hutcherson and Jena Malone are all back.

Julianne Moore is the big addition to the cast list, as she takes on the role of President Alma Coin for the first time.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 is released 21st November.
