Brewster is set to reprise the role of Mia Toretto later this year in Fast & Furious 7, which comes two years after the success of Fast & Furious 6, and she admits that she is already looking ahead to the franchise's future.

However, the actress says that there is nothing official in the pipeline at the moment.

Speaking to the New York Daily News, the actress said: "I've heard that there might be more, but nothing official yet.

"The fans are always sort of the ones to generate whether or not there will be more. It's totally up to the producers. I wish it were up to me. I love being a part of this family."

Fast & Furious 7 will be the last time that we see Paul Walker on the big screen after he was killed in a road accident during the filming of the movie.

We will see Walker reprise the role of Bryan O'Conner with his brothers stepping in to help finish the film after this death.

Brewster is also joined on the cast list by Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, and Michelle Rodriguez, while Jason Statham and Kurt Russell are two of the big new additions to the ever expanding cast list.

It is also all change in the director's chair as James Wan takes over from Justin Lin to helm this franchise for the first time.

Fast and Furious 6, which was released two years ago, is the most successful instalment of the series - taking over that mantle from Fast 5.

Fast & Furious 7 is released 3rd April.
