Joss Whedon has apologised in advance to the people of Seoul for the disruption filming Avengers: Age of Ultron will cause.

Whedon is set to film some big action sequences in the city for the highly anticipated sequel to Avengers Assemble.

And the director has realised the problem this could cause and has apologised in advance to the people of the city.

Speaking in the video he says: "We are going to mess it up a bit and inconvenience some people for a few days and I apologize for that.

"I know what that’s like. I live in Los Angeles. It happens to me all the time and it’s not fun. I hope that it will be worth it."

Filming is already under way on Age of Ultron, and will see Whedon return to the director's chair.

Filming is currently taking place in Italy, with the shoot set to expand to the UK and South Africa.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is released 1st May.
