Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is amongst the all-star cast that comes together for the highly-anticipated sequel to critically-acclaimed film, Jumanji, with Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle hitting cinemas across the globe at the end of this year. Today, the first official trailer for the film has been released – along with a new poster – and you can check both of them out below:
In the new adventure, the tables are turned as the teenagers involved in playing Jumanji are sucked into the dangerous world and jungles of the game. This time round, they’re brought into the game via an old video game console that they’ve never seen before. After choosing their characters or ‘avatars’ as they’re referred to in the film, they take on the bodies of those they chose.
Played by Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan, they soon come to realise that Jumanji isn’t a game you play; instead it’s a game that plays you. Forced to go on one of the most dangerous adventures in their lifetime, they’ll have to win and get out of the game or be stuck there forever.
Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle hits cinemas across the UK this December.
