Jurassic Park

Jurassic Park

It has been revealed that Jurassic World will be se twenty two years after the original film.

Jurassic World is the fourth film in the Jurassic Park series, and is the first film since Jurassic Park III back in 2001.

Colin Trevorrow is in the director's chair for the film and will also pen the screenplay with Derek Connolly.

Trevorrow wrote on Twitter: "This is a new sci-fi terror adventure set 22 years after the horrific events of Jurassic Park."

Bryce Dallas Howard and Ty Simpkins are two of the names that are already on the cast list.

Chris Pratt is rumoured to be in talks to take on the central role; a role that was initially linked to Josh Brolin.

This would be another huge role for Pratt, as he is set to star in Guardians of the Galaxy next summer.

We are also going to be seeing him on the big screen in Delivery man and The Lego Movie; he has lent his voice to the character of Emmet.

Trevorrow has reportedly been working "in tandem" with 'Jurassic Park' executive producer Steven Spielberg to handpick the cast for the fourth instalment in the dinosaur series.

'Jurassic World' is due for release in 2015.
