Liam Neeson says that he will keep on making action movies as long as the scripts are good.

Neeson is back on the big screen this week as he leads the cast in A Walk Among The Tombstones.

A Walk Among The Tombstones is an adaptation of the novel by Lawrence Block, while Neeson teams up with director Scott Frank for the first time.

And Neeson admits that actors his age don't usually get offered these types of roles and he will continue to make these movies until his knees give up.'

Speaking to the Evening Times, the actor said: "Normally, for people my age, leading roles and action roles are few and far between. So if the script's good enough, I'll do it and make the necessary arrangements.

"Sometimes in Hollywood, you're flavour of the month then you disappear; you might come back, or you may not.

"I love doing these, they're still offering them to me, and as long as there's an audience, I'll keep doing them. Until my knees give up..."

2014 has been a busy year for Neeson has we have already seen him star in The Lego Movie, Non-Stop and A Million Ways to Die in the West.
