Liam Neeson has hinted that Taken 3 will be the last time that he plays Brian Mills.

Neeson will reprise the role at the beginning of next year for the third film in the popular action franchise.

Maggie Grace, and Famke Janssen are the other familiar faces on board, while Forest Whitaker and Dougray Scott are some of the brand new names aboard.

When Forest Whitaker joked about the two characters appearing in a fourth film, Neeson told USA Today: "It's a rollicking good story. Bit I think this is the end."

This time around, Mills is searching for a kidnapped member of his family, he is on the run after being framed for murder.

Taken 3 will see Neeson reunite with director Olivier Megaton, while Luc Besson has had a hand in penning the screenplay.

Neeson returned to the big screen last week with his new thriller A Walk Among The Tombstones, which opened at #2 at the UK box office.

Neeson has also finished work on Run All Night and is currently filming A Monster Calls.

A Monster Calls sees J.A. Bayona in the director's chair, while Felicity Jones and Sigourney Weaver are also on the cast list.

Taken 3 is released 8th January 2015.
