Macbeth is just one of the films that he has completed work on a big screen interpretation of Macbeth, and the first two images have been released.
Fassbender will take on the title role in the new film, which will see him team up with filmmaker Justin Kurzel.
Kurzel grabbed everyone’s attention with Snowtown back in 2011, this is his first full feature film since making that debut.
Oscar winner Marion Cotillard is on board as Lady Macbeth, while Elizabeth Debicki, Jack Reynor, David Thewlis and Paddy Considine are all also on board.
